Well, we've delved through hundreds of emails and texts, all full of your photos from the recent Kerrang! XXV Tour. We asked you for your pix from our 28th anniversary shows that took place in January. We wanted to see shots of the bands in action - Bullet For My Valentine headlining, Aiden bonding with the crowds every night and Hawthorne Heights and Still Remains keeping it loud and proud across the nation. But who has won the Epiphone Special guitar, signed by all the acts on the bill? The winner is...
...taken by Sylvie Varnier at the show at Norwich UEA on Friday January 20. What we liked about this photo:
1) Sylvie got down the front 2) It's wIL from Aiden in a moment of extreme emotion. 3) You can tell who it is even though you can't see his face. 4) The hands! The fans! The hands! 5) It conveys the excitement and atmosphere of the K!XXV shows. Or summat. 6) We think it's pretty cool. And unusual.
So, Sylvie wins the exclusive black Epiphone SG Special guitar, signed by all the acts on the K! tour. The signatures are 100% authentic, because we had to get them at the Brixton Academy show. Congratulations to Sylvie and thanks to everyone who entered the competition - we had a fantastic response and some amazing photos that we'll keep to remind us of a brilliant tour. See you next year for more of the same!

Picking up the Best British Newcomer gong at this year's Kerrang! Awards, not to mention scoring the maximum KKKKK accolade for their debut album, The Poison, as well as clocking up their very own Kerrang! cover, 2005 has been, with out a shadow of a doubt, Bullet For My Valentine's year. Signed to Visible Noise Records (home of Lostprophets) last summer, through countless sold-out shows the young Welsh metallers have built up a real reputation for themselves as being one of the UK's most formidable live bands. "Kerrang! has been really good to us over the last 12 months," says Bullet For My Valentine vocalist/guitarist Matt Tuck. "And we're flattered to be asked to headline this Kerrang! tour. We're the only band in the country doing this kind of metal, so we will gladly take on that job as the face of Kerrang! 25 years on!"

Having shifted a staggering 250,000 copies of their debut album The Silence In Black And White since its release last June, Hawthorne Heights are already a household name in their native US. Last seen on these shores headlining the sold-out Victory Records tour with label mates Silverstein, Spitalfield and Bayside, the post hardcore heroes have once again set their sights on conquering the UK. "We're looking forward to playing to much bigger crowds in the UK on the Kerrang! XXV Tour," says Hawthorne Heights frontman JT Woodruff. "We're a little bit poppier than the other bands on the bill, a little bit happier-sounding I guess, so it should be fun. All the other bands will be wearing make-up except for us. You never know, maybe we’ll put some on!"

Last seen in the UK six months ago with labelmates Trivium and 3 Inches Of Blood as part of Roadrunner Records' mammoth Roadrage Tour, Still Remains are itching to set foot on British soil once more. And the Michigan metallers, who were nominated for Best International Newcomer at the 2005 Kerrang! Awards, were over the moon when they were invited to join in Kerrang!'s 25th anniversary celebrations, because they all grew up reading the magazine. "We feel totally honoured and privileged to be part of this tour," enthuses keyboard player Zach Roth. "We grew up buying Kerrang! magazine on import from the local record shops back home. We're just a bunch of kids who love music, so, for us, this is like a dream come true."

Described as "quite simply the best thing to come out of Seattle in years" in a recent issue of Kerrang!, up-and-coming goth punks Aiden may be relatively unknown compared to the other bands on the Kerrang! XXV bill, but that doesn't mean that they don’t have high hopes. "We're so excited to get out there with all of these bands," enthuses Aiden singer wiL. "I can't even describe in words how excited I am. We're going to start the party off right every night. It's going to be good!"
