Picking up the Best British Newcomer gong at this year's Kerrang! Awards, not to mention scoring the maximum KKKKK accolade for their debut album, The Poison, as well as clocking up their very own Kerrang! cover, 2005 has been, with out a shadow of a doubt, Bullet For My Valentine's year. Signed to Visible Noise Records (home of Lostprophets) last summer, through countless sold-out shows the young Welsh metallers have built up a real reputation for themselves as being one of the UK's most formidable live bands. "Kerrang! has been really good to us over the last 12 months," says Bullet For My Valentine vocalist/guitarist Matt Tuck. "And we're flattered to be asked to headline this Kerrang! tour. We're the only band in the country doing this kind of metal, so we will gladly take on that job as the face of Kerrang! 25 years on!"
