WHOO!! Freakin' awesome!! Thanks so much for bringing these brilliant bands to Belfast!! In reply to an earlier comment, we noticed a guy at the merch stand with a horde of people round him, we thought he was in a band but he must've been 'very hot merch guy Chris'... what a great night!

Re: How was YOUR Kerrang! Tour?

It was busy at the begining and quite a big queue. Before people were thinking Iamghost were going to be crap, but they changed some views with a pretty good performance imo. Next band up theaudition who were dreadful. Crap hairstyles, awful clothes, out of tune guitars. I heard their tracks before and its not bad music. Live however they were awful. Frontman Danny was an asshole. Tried to start an unsuccessful moshpit, then wanted a wall of death just because he's friends with aiden, when he talked about Aiden, we thought wiL Francis was there or they were going to play an Aiden track but no he just wanted a very crap wall of death. To up the tempo he jumped in teh crowd (flatenning my friend) and to end of a crap performance sections of the audience gave him the finger. The Bronx came on without the frontman, then came on a drunk matt - and the party started. He danced around then jumped in the crowd and sang (I danced with him!). Pure brilliance. White guilt was perfectly executed showing though pissed he's a great singer. After technical difficulties it took a while for Biffy to come on stage but boy was it worth it. Technically brilliant, they did put on a great act though not communicating with the crowd alot they played the tunes we all love. Blackened skys was sung to them by the crowd anmd an upbeat 57 really got the crowd going. Overall a good night. Worth the money and thanks to Kerrang for coming to a place where we get about one decent gig a year. Thanks again - a loyal fan

Re: How was YOUR Kerrang! Tour?

OH MY WORD!
it was amazing, i only really went for I am Ghost and the Audition tho.. but congrats Kerrang, you've just got the bronx one more fan! i am Ghost came on pretty early though and i missed most of the first song and it seemed like no one really knew them... there wasn't actually that many people there at the start which i liked coz i was really close to them and was one of the first ones to go out and meet them at the merch table! they stayed out there for ages! and all the bands were really nice too!
Please please please come back next year!

Re: How was YOUR Kerrang! Tour?

....stupid people at the Mandella hall opened the doors at 7 instead of 8 which was the time on the ticket.bleh.that lead to me missing most of I Am Ghost's set, which was the only reason i went.

so yea...came up at quarter to 8 looking for the que...theres none so just walk up....and I Am Ghost are playing already...so freaking annoying....

they finished up after 3 songs...then the audition were on...i spent most of their set in the hall...cause they suck.lol.meh,heard them when they played for the Aiden gig back in September and really dont like them...kinda like a mix of The Used and Fall Out Boy......bleh

during this time got to chat to Steven Juliano and Kerith Telestai from I Am Ghost and got them to sign my ticket :D

then The Bronx came on.they...rock....lol.no seriously, they were great, like a really hardcore punk kinda thing.i remember hearing them a few years ago and liking them but not following them up for some reason....but they do rock a lot :P

after that was Biffy Clyro.nice songs, very experimental but not my kinda thing to be honest.still enjoyed their set until my leg started to hurt.lol.

then went back to elms village to stay with my mate Andy.He sent me outta his room though cause he doesnt like his snoring...so i slept on friends Charlottes floor....was fun :D

Re: How was YOUR Kerrang! Tour?

Awwwhhhh!! It was AMAZING!!!
Biffy Clyro stole the show no doubt about it!!
Unbelievable how good a live act they are!! The WHOLE crowd was apart of it. They sang along to the songs, 57, Justboy, Joy.Discovery.Invention. Blew me away!!
Soooo pleased I was standing in the crowd singing etc!
Got to meet ones. Steven, Kerith and Bryan from I Am Ghost and they signed my ticket! =D Also...James from Biffy signed mine too. So after that we just waited for the The bronx to come on. We were standing at the place where the bands walked on anf off stage so when The Bronx were on playing I got to meet, Danny, Tim and the guitarost from theAudition and got autographs! Then...the exciting part!! We spotted Simon Neil and James from Biffy infront of us watching the Bronx. We kept calling him but he didn't hear =[ So we stood infront of him for the whole set of the Bronx (I didn't like them so it was okay) So when theyw ere done James got up and left. We tried to reach out and grab him but no luck. Them Simon got up. We started shouting his name then he stopped. He held out our tickets to get them signed but he had to go and get ready so he came over and shook my hand!! Yes!! I almost died!!! =D Simon Neil like!! WOWZERS!! lol!

Welll....GREAT night. Thanks sooooooooo much for putting Biffy on the tour. Best decision! (Y) Biffy HAVE to come back now and do anotehr show when their new album is out!!!!!

MON THE BIFFY!! <3
